Supercropping your cannabis plants main stem and branches is a form of high stress training (HST). Your best super cropping tool is your fingers! Knowing when to stop super-cropping and when it’s too late to allow for sufficient recovery time varies from strain to strain, and between photoperiods and autoflowers.
How Many Times Can You Super Crop A Cannabis Plant?
It’s recommended to stop (stem spitting) using the super crop technique 2 weeks in to flower at the latest. You can still use low stress training (LST) and leaf tucking from this period onward to manipulate branches for better light penetration. Before this flowering stage you can super crop every 4 – 7 days.
